You know that really slick move where you step on the left bike pedal and then swing your right leg over the back of the bike so that in one fluid motion you go from standing next to your bike to already moving halfway down the block?Yeah. I can't do that. I actually did it yesterday after only a few false starts with no injuries. Today, though, I scraped the hell out of my knee trying. My knee is not pleased. It was even less pleased when I had to put on pants and go to work. Because of the nature of the stunt, I crashed not even five feet from my front door. I am proud to report that I was enough of a badass to go ahead and have a bike ride today anyway. All dripping blood behind me as I rode. Oh, hells yes.
