I wonder if I start too many entries with "hi." It's a fairly reasonable way to start out, I guess, but it seems like I do it far too often.

I just finished work. I get to go back in three hours. It's all a little strange. There are two waitresses working tonight, but one of them is technically still in her first week (er...day 7 of her first week....) and thus Training. So, Linda asked me to at least be there for the rush. It's Saturday. The rush was from 7-12:30 this morning. I know. I was there.

I'm thinking my plan is to go in, and just sorta hang out for a few hours. If they need me, I'll take a table or two, but ideally, I'll just wrap silverware, maybe bus a little, and just generally act more as long-legged grinning scenery than as an active team player.

KC really does need to just be dropped into the Full Waitress Experience, or she'll never learn, or something. Besides, I'm exhausted, yo. It is good, this plan. I like it, anyway.
