If it was a subliminal message, it was a strangely ineffective one. I'm still sitting here. I'm feeling all smug now, for resisting it. Unless...that's what They wanted me to do...

I tried ICQing Yahn and/or Angie about the subliminal msg. He and/or she seemed uninterested.

I never actually established who I was talking to. At the time, I thought it would make the conversation more interesting. I did the same thing last night, to someone else. It's probably a fairly disconcerting habit, but it amuses me.

Mystery Caller: "Hi, Ana."

Ana: "Hiya."

MC: "Do you know who this is?"

Ana: "Um...no. But keep talking."

MC: "..."

Ana: "So, how are you?"

MC: "I'm fine."

Ana: "Are you...Rijid?"

MC: "No."

Ana: "Hmm."

MC: "I'll give you a hint. I'm in another time zone."

Ana: "I don't think I know anyone in another time zone."

MC: "Yes you do."

Ana: "Ooh! Wait! Are you east of me, or west?"

MC: "Both, actually."

Ana: "What?"

MC: "It depends on how you look at it."

Ana: "Now wait a minute..."

MC: "Probably more west."

Ana: "How can you not know?"

MC: "People eat a lot of rice here."

Ana: "I'm....very happy for them?"

MC: "It's George."(The larger, less fuzzy one, that is. --The Mgt.)

Ana: "George? ? What the hell are you doing on my phone?"

MC: "Well, I called the HAT, looking for Hans, and--"

Ana: "Hans? You want to talk to Hans? I think you should talk to Hans now."

After Hans was done, I did manage to have a reasonably sane conversation with George. He's doing just fine.
