WheeeeeeeSplat?

I applied for six jobs today. Strangely, they were all in Chicago.

See, KC has reached the point of Too Much Ripon. She sent an emergency e-mail to her Sister Who Does Stuff, and the SWDS started bombarding her with job opportunites. Several of them say "College degree, no experience necessary" so I figured what the hell. IF I have a job to walk into, and IF I can find an apartment right away, this might work. There is probably juuust barely enough in savings to handle a security and deposit. If I haven't heard anything by the 15th, then the whole plan gets pushed back a month.

This is all so sudden and scary and strange, but I think it's right. It would probably take me another year to save enough money for a completely stress-free move with an adequate safety net, if there even is such a thing. I'm trying to convince myself that no matter how much I have saved, it won't seem like enough, so I need to stop wasting my life already and just go.

I could in fact fret about this for hours, but that will just stress me out. More on this story, asd it develops!
