It's snowing, again. This is not news. This is, to borrow the ancient joke, "olds." As a rule, entries about the weather are lame. By this point, the entry about how water is wet, or about how there is a moon would be more groundbreaking.

I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that it will not snow when it is Extremely Fucking Cold. I'm not sure exactly where the EFC point is, but I do know that it is significantly warmer than it was a few days ago. I know this because I am sitting comfortably at the computer in just a long sleeve shirt. Two days ago, I needed a wool sweater, a hat, and gloves to do this. I wish I was exaggerating.

When it is EFC, the thermostat for this apartment won't read above 60. This is a lie. I know roughly what 60 degrees feels like. 60 does not mean two pairs of socks and a hat.

I guess I just wish there were more than two kinds of outside. If it's not snowing, it's EFC, and vice versa. I'm sure I remember other kinds of weather. Will we ever see those heady days again?
