I wonder why Silent Bob doesn't do MySpace

This is a comic. The really interesting thing is that all the characters keep blogspot accounts. The comics author said something in the FAQ about how it helped him develop the characters by having them talk about stuff they do that's not in the comics. I will follow this comic (and all the feeds) with particular interest.

In a similar vein, I found this while wandering around myspace. Seriously, check it out. Dante has Jay and Randall (and some characters from the new movie that I don't know) listed as his friends, and all the characters have their interests sections filled out in ways that make sense. Ok, it's an obvious marketing ploy. But I respect the effort that went into it.

I sent Dante a message. I really had no choice. I told him I felt his pain, because I also work in fast food hell. I also asked him what it's like being fictional. If he responds, I'll add him to my "friends." If he doesn't, I won't bother. I don't need imaginary friends. I have Mr. Johnny Depp as a friend. Johnny and me, we go way back.
