Why my diary is better than yours.

So, I updated the sidebar. It looks like I took a lot of people out, but rest assured, I still know how to find you.The livejournal and myspace links will take you to dozens of other Taus, if you're into that sort of thing. That's pretty much my one gripe about Diaryland. There's a similar feature, but it's only accessable if you're logged in. I can see when the three Taus who still use the D-land update, but there is no way for me to share that page with anyone who's not logged into a Diaryland account. Diaryland still kicks all other Online Ego Gratification (OEG) platforms' asses. I don't care what anyone says. I had to learn "HTML" to make this page look like this. I am a better person for it. Do you even know what a "href" is? I didn't think so. Smug mode on. That's kind a nerdy argument. Smug mode off. How about how my OEG is completely ad-free? No one is using my personal space to sell you ringtones. Take that, myspace! *** OK, fine. myspace is very good at what it does, networking. They also have a blog feature, but that's really not the point. They can do a lot of things that D-land just can't do. (Last night, I played with the chat feature. After Daven stopped amusing me, I found some completely random person and was strange at him for a while. Good times.) Diaryland is very good at what it does, which is pretty much all about the writing. Have you SEEN how I set up my archives? Can your OEG do that? I know Plenz and others had some issues with Diaryland crashing and not displaying images, but they just don't know Diaryland like I do. Diaryland loves you, baby. Diaryland would never do you wrong. (Seriously, I NEVER had a problem. I don't know why other people did.)
