I drove all the way to Madison, then to a small park somewhere near John Nolen Dr. (I got lostish, and had an hour to kill anyway), then to somewhere else in Madison, and then to yet somewhere else in Madison, and then home. I did it ALL in my sweet little manual car, and I only stalled (drumroll please...)ONCE. OK, yeah, there were a few other places that the car was probably not very pleased with me, but in eight hours of more or less continuous driving I only held up traffic ONCE. And I got it right the second try, so I wasn't even that much of a hazard. Maybe no one even noticed.

I knew it was going to be hardcore day, driving an unfamiliar car in an unfamiliar city, (Downtown, even! I was driving in DOWNTOWN Madison with a stick shift!!) and I was a little freaked out. Rijid offered to let me borrow his car for the Day O Interviews, but I told him no. I bought this car, and I need to learn how to drive it. And I DID. I am a driving genius.
