"Your hand. It's ALWAYS dripping wet, Lopez. We've now passed through it's happened so many times that is actually kinda funny, and it's just annoying again."

"I'm wet, Lopez. Estoy limpia. No, wait. I think that's "clean." Uh...estoy....estoy...look, just go bus the tables, will you?"

"Si. You just asked me that an hour ago, dude. As far as I know, nothing's changed."

"Nevermind." (And why do you keep saying "que?" I'm pretty sure that's totally ungrammatical. That's why it was funny when Manuel on Fawlty Towers said it all the time...)

*shakes hand*

"Busy today!"

*Wipes hand on towel. Sighs.*

"Si. Busy today."

Sigh. Repeat all damn day long. I know he's just trying to be friendly. I know he doesn't have a lot of English at his disposal. But it makes me so insane to have to go through the exact same conversation with him 40 times every single day.
