COUCH!!

Longtime readers may remember a little something about a couch. (Damn this accursed life sans internet! Someday, there will be links there, but since I'm not online, I have no idea what the original entries were called. It occurs to me that by the time you finally read this, I'll have been online, found the links, and inserted them. This whole parenthetical rant is just going to confuse you.) (ed note 2-18: OK, no linkage. But I swear I'll get on that as soon as I get the rest of these damn entries up.)Friends, my new life begins today. I. Have. A. Couch. It's green and so very comfortable, and best of all, it fits in my living room. (I'm tempted to take a picture of it. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I took pictures of all the various stages of the Couch Saga, planning to post them when it finally got resolved. But, since posting pictures involves a bunch more stuff that's easier to do with internet access, that's also going to have to wait. There are also picures I'd love to share with you of the teeny little John Malcolm that Paul painted and gave to me. But, not today.) The couch used to belong to Wej. The attentive reader may recall that it was Wej who originally gave us his bed. As long as I can stay friends with Wej, I may never have to actually pay for furniture for the rest of my life.
