I wanted to write a whole bunch today, but after starting out like that, there's not really a lot else to say. Talk amongst yourselves, while I go buy cigarettes.

Remember when I said I called Amanda on New Years? Apparently, I called Jaime instead. These things happen. She called me back, and then she sent me an e-mail. I wish I had the technology to share the ongoing conversation with you. Basically, her angle, as I remember it, is that the most important thing is to live in balance. If you're not nourishing every part of yourself; spirtual, physical, emotional and logical, you can never be a whole person. If you're not even a whole person, there's no way at all you can figure out who you are. Interesting. Also, we've worked out that it's an ongoing process. If you're not someone different than you were 10 years, or even 10 minutes ago, you're clearly doing something wrong. So, you can't ever really know who you are, because you're always someone new. I just thought you'd like to know.

About once a week, I make it online. I get caught up on the LARP boards, (Oh, the LARP boards. Darius sucks, you know that? Strewing bodies all over town, when there are hunters lurking around every corner. Stupid Setite. Apparently, Paine is the latest winner of the Darius Sweepstakes. Paine, who is a clanmate of Ellen's, meaning now Ellen has to start caring about this because now it's personal and stuff. Stupid Ben the Storyteller who plays Darius.) I delete a pile of junk mail, and I peek in D-land. At last count, I'm still getting about 10 hits a day, even though I haven't actually posted anything in two weeks. Oh, and guess who's the number one Google hit for "Ana Ng." TMBG song? What TMBG song? It's all about ana-ng.diaryland.com, baby. If I were online, I'd probably be ruling the world by now.
