Bookseller, Part II
2002-05-09 5:10 p.m.

The bookstore job continues to go well. Yesterday was actually a little dull. I was told to stand behind the register all day, and get good at that. And I did. I understand that register better than its own mother does right now. Well, maybe not. I have yet to encounter gift certificates, or refunds, or anything even a little bit funky, but lemme tell you, I can sell generic cigarettes like nobody's business.

Thursday is New Book Day. It's kinda like Magazine Day, only moreso. Many books that no one could possibly want, and several hundred that I can't live another day without. Too bad I've effectively taken a pay cut to have this job.... Note to self: Become millionaire, then seek job at crackhouse.

This seems like a really short entry. Such is life, sometimes.
