No new developments in the new job search. (Whining level 4)

There's a baby shower for Lusy and I can't go because it's my dad's birthday, (not that I'll be able to get him anything because I'm working more or less constantly the next three days, but I still have to go, he invited us a month ago), and I've got all these strange vibes at work just because they planned this whole thing and I obviously don't love Lusy at all, never mind that no one asked me when was convenient, and they happened to pick the one day in the whole month I have anything planned. (See, this is the part I didn't actually get a chance to mention before my computer got an attitude. Note how I smooshed it all into one sentence for you, because this is actually supposed to be a "short" recap. Whining level 3.)

Oh, and then there was this. OK, I'm done now.
