And, yes. I am going to take some small satisfaction in knowing that this puppy is going to knock D. on his ass in few days. Schadenfreude. It's not just a neat-sounding German word. It's a way of life. Or, at least, as close to "life" as I feel right now....

Nick totally screwed up the schedule this week. On Tuesday, I was the only person on the schedule for the night shift. Tonight, there are two girls on, instead of the usual three.

When Sue and I pointed this out to Lusy, she said Sue should have known she was working, because she had two other days off this week. Um.... Think about that for a minute.

Sue wasn't sure if she'd be able to find a babysitter on such short notice. Last night, I wasn't feeling like Death with a side of Puke, so I told her to call me if she couldn't find a sitter. An hour ago, she called.

D'oh. Double d'oh. Double scoop of chocolate chip cookie d'oh with extra mint sprinkles. Mmm. Sprinkles.

No, I'm not totally sure what that was, either. Leave me alone. I'm sick, goddammit.
